Sports Exhaust? Er-No.
I know I keep banging on about saving your money and not ticking the options list.
I have always found it slightly annoying how every 992 reviewer states that the particular options of the car they have been lent are "essential".
Baloney.
In think the 992 is just fine without any options! The car is just perfection out the box.
Well imagine my pleasure when I watched this film.
The boys are trying to decide on which options are essential and which are a waste of money.
They are enjoying the lovely exhaust noises coming from this gorgeous Gaurds Red Carrera.
At one point the boys point out how great the car sounds with the "sports exhaust". Much better than the standard item (apparently). That had me a bit confused.
At the end of the film they discover that it is the standard Porsche item! At least they are honest enough not to edit out their mistake.

I agree the base is everything you need sans options. That said, I am really enjoying the PSE as you can still run the standard exhaust note when it pleases you. Nice to have the choice.

It might sound better, but
I personally hate the look of the sport exhaust on the 991.2 and don’t love it on the 992. I simply love the look of the quad exhausts.
and
wish the sport exhaust was not ordered by every dealer out there.
