This is strange and it has happened the last 4 times I've pulled into the garage. I'm creeping up into my parking place motor is running. I brake and stop the car and the motor is running. I punch the park button gear selector it goes into park and the engine shuts off. Is this normal???? I know what Auto Stop is and I don't think this has anything to do with that. like I said i've stopped the car and the motor is still running. Any thoughts"

Yes, if auto start/stop is on, going into park shuts off the engine. Normal.

Yes and even when you switch off the A/C, it automatically shuts off. Pretty much normal,

I could be wrong but pretty sure in sport mode it doesn’t do that. I assumed it was related to auto start stop being off but not sure as I am always in sport mode.

I reread the owners manual on the start/stop feature and yes with the feature on, foot on the break and placed in park will stop the engine. Sport mode will also disengage the start/stop feature.
