Take your time, be patient, test drive it on highway and on bumpy roads before being shuffled off to finance, Tell SA to be quiet so you can listen for any squeaks or rattles.

I posted this last month: https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1230...l#post19321927

The attachment has the list of available options in the US configurator and shows which are no-cost, and which are exclusive to the T. The personas in the slides help to illustrate how different buyers might prioritize different options based on what they are optimizing for with their build. Hope it helps.

I think he's being sarcastic. He also said "which will get killed on resale" ... there will be a line out the door for any PTS 992T, they are like unicorns.

Indeed, maybe hood stripe in orange? - but it has to be the precise hue of the Gulf cars.

Unfortunately the build locked before it was technically supposed to. I wanted to change the stitching to orange and delete the wheel locks. I will add orange “Porsche” script to each side and have the calipers painted the same color. The MSRP is high so, coupled with the sales tax, there are a lot of more desirable options at that price point. I don’t have any plans to sell but expect a hit whenever that day comes. I’ve enjoyed reading this thread, especially opinions surrounding RAS. I expect to get flamed for my spec but I consider it a 1st world problem.

Fortunately, I think this thread has long matured to where people are past flaming anyone for his build (other than the occasional outsider troll). Specify the car for you, not anyone else... and you did just that.

I'm surprised you are serious about your resale comment. You'll have no problem, especially since there is another significant price increase coming with the 992.2. And many are not excited about the design changes. A smart PTS color always brings demand.

Lastly, don't worry about the stitching color. Orange would have been awesome, but your car is very special as it is. I love the SportDesign Package and Exclusive Design wheels; while expensive options, they are worth every penny.
