Production Delays?

Hello everyone! Glad i found this thread. My GT3RS is also in Jacksonville and has been at the port since 1/22/2024. My car was actually manufactured in July 2023, I did European Delivery in Nov 2023 and dropped the car off in Madrid on 11/28/2023. My car has 3,500 miles on it. By the time I will hopefully get my car here in Florida, it will 9 months old and it will be 5 months since the date that I dropped if off the shipment. Very unusual situation indeed...

Kinda surprised if this is just a US issue. Or maybe the reporting just hasn’t caught up yet. What about other US Allies and Western democracies? There is usually some follow-on to US sanctions.

I have read that Porsche has offered concessions through extended maintenance, warranty, etc. in similar situations in the past, but my dealer has not yet offered anything. And I have not pushed since I don’t have many “facts” at this point.
I tried to PM you directly, but your post count is not high enough. If you are able to contact me, please do. Again, i think our ED makes our situation fairly unique, so hoping we can exchange some info to get the best outcome possible.
Thanks!

My car is scheduled to begin production on 2/26/24 and I now can see a VIN number assigned.
Hopefully a good sign that new chips are starting to be sourced and installed.

Update from the Dealer as of this morning is that the 'gateway module' is on hand and being installed today. After that, waiting on the PPF, hand over a bucket of $ and my Wife is on her way!

Were you able to confirm the module is located under the seat? Do we know if the seat needs to be removed to access it?
If not, see if you can pry this info from your SA or even speak to the tech that did the work.
