I can't stand doug anymore. He was hilarious before he got huge. His video on the convertible Nissan Murano was what made me a fan.

Anywho, it's not just doug. I can't stand any GTS reviews anymore. I love the GTS too. I'm just so sick and tired of hearing that lazy, cliche statement that the "GTS is the middle ground between the Carrera S and the GT3"... No, it's not. Stop regurgitating that same exact line in every review video, please!

It’s a ok review, however I’m not sure I could listen to him very often. He’s certainly got his own distinct style.

An SA I know said the same thing - chip shortage so they’re building more expensive models. Not sure if that is true or not, but it lines up with your info.

Is that why she stopped? She actually did good reviews for cars a family would use every day. It's unfortunate that people are the way they are.

Thanks for the link.
It has become so bad that I think he might be coming down with Parkinsons or something... He's borderline unwatchable.

First line in the article

For starters, he considers the 2022 GTS Coupe as the middle ground between the Carrera S and the GT3.

What's with all the Doug hate....He's good for the car community. He doesn't pull punches, he thinks the 911 in certain trims is too big and too soft, and he should know he dailied a 911 for years and worked for Porsche.

I wasn't familiar with her so I just watched her 992 Turbo Cabriolet video. She did a decent job with the video in general, though I wasn't expecting to hear her describe the headlights as "adorable".

Kudos to her for not trying to increase viewership by exploiting her sexuality.

I like Doug's signature "quirks and features" but to me his actual road test reviews have always come across as an after thought and typically very incomplete.

Exactly, it's always the same shtick:

1) Hit the gas
2) Push dead pedal with left foot to give appearance of acceleration proportional to viewer expectations
3) Cackle
4) Hoot a time or two
5) Cackle some more, maybe
6) Move on to "Starting with the 'weekend' categories..."
