New member here. In May 2021, I waitlisted myself for a 992 Carrera GTS cabriolet with two dealerships in Arizona. To my surprise, in November the dealership that I didn’t have a previous relationship called to offer me an allocation for a February 2022 build with an April 2022 delivery date. The offer by the dealership was for MSRP with no ADM. The dealership was very patient with me as I tweaked my build numerous times for 3 weeks.
I was sure I wanted truffle brown interior with brown roof but I was not so sure about the exterior color. I fluctuated between python green, shark green and dolomite silver. The “look at me” characteristics of python green and shark blue scared me and silver was just too predictable. My last near and dear car was a white 2005 BMW E46 ZHP convertible that I kept for 15 years and I wanted to make sure I chose a color for the 992 that I would continue to like over the years. Ultimately I bit the bullet and went Paint to Sample olive green (60G) which pushed the delivery date initially to July 15, 2022 to now August 5, 2022 per TYD. Build code is PN2FAHF4.
I am happy with my build choices but I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members since I have learned so much by reading the forums the last 3 months. There is a wealth of information on build choices, reliability, allocation challenges, and delivery delays on the forums. This being my 1st 911 and by far the most expensive car I have ever bought, I would not have accomplished it sight unseen without the information that is available on these forums. Thanks again and I look forward to driving it when it arrives.

This - they've been awesome! First time Porsche buyer. Was treated poorly at the other dealer and Porsche Chandler promised to make it right. They immediately put me on the GTS list and got me the car at MSRP as promised. My build locked last week. A terrific experience all around.

My experience was the same at the other Phoenix dealer (Porsche North Scottsdale), so I got my 911 from Porsche of Las Vegas. No drama whatsoever at Porsche of Las Vegas.
