Sport mode hesitation
I was searching but could not find an answer yet. I have a base and when cruising at low rpm in sport mode the car seems to not run entirely smooth and “wobble/hesitate” a little. It’s not terrible but In comfort made it’s not there and is entirely smooth. Once I push a little higher in RPM it goes away. No other vibration or issues I can tell. Just feels a little weird and I try to avoid that low RPM range now when cruising and when in sport mode Anybody else observed something like that? I had a tech driving it and he did not think it’s anything unusual but I don’t have other 992’s to compare it with.

Do you have porsche sports exhaust fitted?
If so I'd suspect that when in Sport mode you are opening the exhaust valves and changing the resonance frequency of the exhaust. It's called drone and occurs with many exhaust systems both OEM and aftermarket and is related to a specific RPM hence why it goes away as the RPMs climb.
For example R35 GTRs with decatted midpipes were notorious for it at around 800-1000rpm.

Obvs only guessing here given it's impossible on a forum to provide a first hand experience of it.

yeah, hard to describe but just wonder if others experience anything similar or not. Just a slight shaking, wobbling like driving over uneven cobblestone roads

"Base" here as well and no, never experienced that in either engine rpm variance or exhaust sound variance.
