PCM5 Whole Screen Carplay/Android Auto

first, I have 2021 Model and Samsung S23 phone.
1. I think the spool time is consistent with the amount of time it takes PCM to spool the home screen and activate my homelink access.
2. I had the same issues with disconnect, and they got worse. I DO NOT have these issues with my S23 phone. I had them with my S-9.
a) do not connect your phone to the car's BT. Let the wire be your only connection. Otherwise they conflict.
b) if your connection is via a dongle, the only BT connection between your phone and your car should be thru the dongle. Do not connect your phone to car's BT. Otherwise they conflict.
c) I am not a patient customer, and I was inclined NOT to believe the issues were related to operator error and/or my phone. Raymond was very consistent in his helpful feedback, and I was growing weary. In the end, it was all on me/my phone. My S23 has worked flawlessly. "Five Thumbs Up!"

I'll make my car forget all bluetooth connections then will try solely via the dongle and see if there's any improvement. BTW do you use the same Motorola dongle?

Thanks for the informative reply. I have the same phone, I've been going wired-only lately due to those issue. On USB the spool time is lightning fast, BUT I have to switch the USB mode on my phone a few times between File Transfer/Android Auto/MIDI/etc.

The issues it had were primarily at connection, my phone would happily connect to Bluetooth on both the car and the dongle but the car got confused and the wireless connection would not hand off to WiFi.

The streaming over bluetooth sounded "harsh" or something on Bermester system. IDK how to describe it exactly but I didn't like it. I have an android phone and preferred not switching to Apple to get streaming over USB. This fixed it, stereo sounds great and happy now - thanks Raymand!

Every few years, I go through this cycle of having enough of Apple and wanting to switch to Android, but I fail miserably. So with the introduction of the fold 5, I said that is it, I need a bigger screen, and I am switching. I bought one directly from Samsung and plugged it into my 2021 992, and WTH, no Android Auto. I only wanted a WIRED Android auto that is not included ..... what's with that VW???!!!!! I immediately lit the bat signal and reached Raymond, who did the full-screen Apple carplay for me. He said I have two options: trade the car in for a 22 or newer model or allow him to upgrade..... a no-brainer decision, I went to the dealer to trade my 2021 992 for a 2022 model and discovered they had none in stock and they wanted MSRP+ for used ones. So I resorted to option B and called Raymond again. The dude must be a magician, 10 minutes of witchcraft, and the problem is solved. Android Auto works in full-screen mode like a charm.
I highly recommend Raymond; he saved me tens of thousands of dollars (not having to buy a new car). The sad part is, I returned the Fold 5; my entire family and every device I own (except my work PC) are Apple, so having an Android is like voting me off the island.

Awesome job, quick and effective!
Congratulations to Innovative Soft and Raymond!
They've done a terrific job that went quickly and flawlessly. They turned my half size screen CarPlay into a whole screen CarPlay in my Porsche 911 (992).
It's a pleasure working with Raymond, a very nice, knowledgeable and effcient guy.
No need to waste time with others, Innovative Soft and Raymond are the real ones!
From France, Marc.

Just purchased my 2020 Carrera 4S and picked it up Saturday. I was sufficiently underwhelmed at the CarPlay look and feel. So much real estate and Porsche decided to crap the bed on the implementation? Further…no Android Auto on the 2020’s made little sense to me.
Reached out to @innovativesoft to understand what he was offering and took the plunge on the HD version.
Booked an appointment to install the next day using Team Viewer and Raymond confirmed the existing Ethernet dongles I had would work.
30 minutes after starting…and voila. CarPlay and AA the way they were meant to look in this screen. Way happier now.
Crazy to me that Porsche doesn’t have it set up like this. $600 is a lot of money, but a drop in the bucket compared to the cost of the Porsche. Looks great now.
