Congrats. You'll now be spending your days hitting refresh on TYD and visiting the waiting for car thread. Hahah.

Thanks! I've tried to learn to be more patient. It helps that this is only day #2 of winter here in flyover country.

The worst was my '17 PTS Targa (owned by another one of us here now). I pre-traded a '16 Boxster GTS in October thinking I would have the car by spring (which is what I was told at the time). Didn't get the car until the end of the following July. That was painful.

I've learned not to give up my current Porsche until the new one arrives at the dealership. It helps tremendously with the waiting game when you have one ready to rock & roll, sitting in the garage.

My allocation for a 911 Turbo S should be ready according to my SA by Feb or March, think I'm gonna do the PURE Heritage style, the corduroy edition one. Have only seen the Pepita Congac one in this thread so was wondering if anyone went with the Pure/Beige one & if the seats without ventilation are not as breathable as say the fabric used in the Pepita edition? Hopefully the Heritage is still available in the coming months, it's really unique & you don't see too many spec this version of the Heritage style.

I had the heritage pure black in my last targa

Favorite interior ive had..live in florida and really did not have an issue

Only reason i traded was for a gts targa i could ED

To my butt meter, the non vent seats are more comfortable than the vent seats

not as interesting as a heritage iconic vw golf interior upholstery, would rather stick to leather or race-tex or just customise a full interior at a good upholster company.

Stunning, the heritage with cognac, can I ask, if any of you as yet (perhaps not, cars too new ) how will you clean or feed the leather without staining the fabric part of the seat face?

Hello All,
Has anyone heard any news on whether the Heritage Interior option - cognac/pepita is discontinued? There has been a stop order since November/December.
Thank you.

Not much intel, but here is where I am...

I got my 2024 Targa 4S order in / allocated on Oct 11th - with PTS and the Cognac/Pepita.. My next big date for order freeze is Feb 11th, I guess I will know then if I get both PTS and the interior choice. I am at order status (200/220) so hopefully I got in early enough.

The odd thing - it (Heritage interior) is still on the configurator (means nothing I know) but usually they pull the option off after a time if not available, like they did PTS months ago. My PTS order had to be manual as well, as I could not submit my online build do to it not being available on the configurator.

The interior came with a little pamphlet on caring for it.... I'll take a pic next time I think about it. I just left it in the frunk.

My Heritage interior build was accepted (at V200) a few weeks ago. Then my wife (who rarely comments on anything car related) said “ I like the leather better”. So I changed it to EM leather in black/chalk a week or so ago, which was also accepted at V200.

They way things have been I have a back up build in regular leather ready to go if that gets denied.

I have not heard about the heritage option being discontinued from my dealer. My order locked yesterday and has the cognac/pepitas interior so I think it is still available. When I was spec-ing my allocation I did find out that aventurine green, shark blue and then yellow exterior paint colors were going away as of 3/1/24 and later builds.

My 2024 S build with the Black Heritage Design. I 100% think it was worth it but understand it's not everyone's cup of tea.
