Default My long awaited 911 upgrade is complete...

Well this "RedCab" is going to have think whether he'll change his user name to GrayCab ?!

Two weeks ago I took the plunge and acquired a nicely optioned Agate gray over Mojave Beige MY20 C2 Cab with <10K miles... and already I've added 1000.

Hoehn Porsche in Carlsbad, CA was great.... highly recommend (if they've got your car).

If you know the roads.... A "fast" drive up Interstate 5 and a "twisty" connection on CA 152 to get to US 101 N into the SF Bay Area.

This past weekend I made a young(er) man very happy when he bought the car I've been driving 20 years... "redcab" a MY01 C2 Cab with just 62K miles.

The 01 was fun but there really is no comparison! Much faster. Much tighter. Modern amenities I appreciate (memory seats, carplay, nav, bluetooth, sports modes, etc etc. )

My required options that I was finally able to find
Sport chrono
Premium Pkg (which to my (late) surprise didn't include LCA)
18 way seats (would have taken 14 too)
Classic wheels (easier to clean than what I had!)
Not a black interior

I really wanted a blue car... purchased thinking about wrapping... but the grey is growing on me... It's elegant... but it just doesn't "pop" the way (IMHO) a 911 should. Opinions?

Don't have many pics... been too busy driving!!

No longer mine but still going to be enjoyed!

New to me!

GreyCab

Was the old one Orient Red? I had an Orient Red C4S and loved the color!!

The new Agate Grey looks awesome.... The 992 Cab has such muscular lines, enjoy!

Go cart vs a modern high performance sports car. Absolutely no comparison.

@Malakas Yup, Orient Red. When I acquired it I was a bit worried that it would attract radar gun attention ... it did not. IMHO it was both elegant and had "pop", especially in the sea of grey, black and white that is now so prevalent.

And yes, no comparison between 996 and 992... I'm not going back ! :-)

Gray exudes richness, depth, and understated confidence...or something like that. I am a gray color fan on cars, especially the 992. I really like it!

Your red 996 has the best looking wheels for a 996.
