Default GT3 Sideskirts

I am replacing my standard sideskirts on my Carrera S because there is a bit of road rash pitting on both sides of car.

I ordered the GT3 skirts from Suncoast as they seem like a nice little upgrade and give the car a bit more aggressive look.

Question is, without having access to a lift, how difficult are they to install? I watched a few videos, but all of them have the car on a lift.

I know it’s a simple procedure but without a lift is it doable?

thanks

This was an easy 30 minute install for me in the garage with no jack or lift.

I assume all you need is a screwdriver, torx wrench (30 & 25), and trim tool

Is that correct?

that's correct. I also took the opportunity to clean underneath the old side skirts. Quite dirty under mine.

Did you just reuse the hardware from the original?

Super easy job with car on the ground.
First side will take 20 mins, second side will take 5.

I have a standard set (unpainted) from my old 2020 (sold) and the gloss black sports skirts that came with my 2023 both packaged in storage. I purchased the GT3 skirts and had them painted in gloss black which are currently installed.

It's super easy laying on the garage floor. As someone said, 20 mins the first side, 5 the second.

Depending on your age, getting up off the garage floor may be the most time consuming part of this install................

I used this video as a guide (thanks @RGS!), and it was an easy 30 minute job:

Good luck!

The only issue that I had was replacing the large round clip locks. I didn't realize that they just snapped into position. If you don't seat the skirt tight into the space where the clips are installed, it will not "click" into the locked position. I found a couple on the garage floor and realized something was wrong.
Lots of pics and instructions on the previous Rennlist thread.
