Then look at machine polishing it if needs be
DO NOT sign off until you are happy with the finish
it requires a combination of heat and sun’s uv to help…Mother Nature will do it much better

As you mentioned, hold off on any polishing until possible moisture is evaporated…assuming that’s the problem

My 992 came with a different shade of Silver on the roof panel that is next the sun roof. I didnt notice it when delivered but discovered it at home. Removing the panel was a no go as that meant removing the whole liner and roof, a pain in the ***. So after a year or so of living with it I decided to get it repainted without removing the part and it came out really good. You can notice a 1% variation in color but I can totally live with it. PCNA did send me a check for compensation. Initially they wanted to give me a voucher to get a jacket or something, but after me calling them many times and telling them that was not fair, they did send me a reasonable check

I’d refuse delivery. Order (and wait) for another one.

Why? … on a metallic car, if you have a keen eye, you will notice a difference. On a car like this, sorry….. I’d try again and let it be Porsche’s issue.

I am having a similar issue and trying to decide which way to go. If you can provide roughly the amount of PCNA compensation, I would appreciate.
Thx

If it needs repainting, I wouldn't accept it.

Any update from OP regarding letting paint get sun exposure?
