Default First 911 arriving in a week, what kind of reactions should I expect on the road?

I've been driving Jeep wranglers basically for the past 10 years, lol, so obviously I'm not used to anyone stopping and making comments on my car, as they're literally a dime a dozen.
I have my 2022 chalk GTS arriving in a week or so.. I'm obviously very excited but part of me is also not sure of what to expect from other people on the road.
I live on long island NY, 911's aren't exactly common here like they are in LA or other major cities, so it will definitely stand out.
Are reactions from people on the road typically good? Do you guys ever get negative reactions on the road, or people driving more aggressively around you, etc.?

Most people don't even give it a second glance 🤷

Good question. A few nice car comments, especially at the gas station. An occasional Mustang, BMW, Charger trying to get my attention with revving or race like behavior. I just ignore and smile.

I have heard that. Probably depends where you are and how accustomed to seeing these cars people are in that location.

Agree with Jeff as far as my Macan has gone. The two test drives I've done for 911 was just smiles and thumbs up. I'm sure when mine comes in there will be people trying to race. I'll just do like I have in my Macan if it seems like someone is trying to raise I let my foot off the gas. I don't want to appear like I am racing if a cop just happens to be around that I didn't see.

No one cares. You just look like every other dentist.

The beauty of a 911 is that you fly under the radar. They’re so common in much of the country that it won’t even get first glance, let alone a second.

Depends on the color. I get a ton of compliments on my Racing Yellow T, and people specifically call out the yellow color. And even more since I put the Ducktail on it

I get the occasional thumbs up from hard core car guys, otherwise it's pretty anonymous, most people don't give it a second look.

Off on a tangent, do you guys acknowledge other P cars and/or vice versa? I'd say maybe half the time it happens. Excluding soccer moms in their Cayennes and Macans.

Younger folks in BMW's will drive past you but then slow so that they are even, and then rev it to make their exhausts burble and pop. As will the occasional Charger, Camaro, etc. I'm not sure if they are trying to challenge me or just showing some form of camaraderie. I haven't had a corvette do that so maybe they tend to be more mature.

EDIT: I see Jeff Whitten said the same thing I did. Must be true then since we have two data points.

I live in Miami and I’m actually shocked as to how much attention the 911 TTS gets. I’ll often get smiles, thumbs up, people staring etc. Never seen anyone take pictures but it definitely catches attention which is very surprising to me. At any given traffic light there’s your Lamborghini, RR, Bentley etc. so a GT silver coupe getting a second glance is surprising but of course still welcome.

I get thumbs up from every 911 owner of any year/vintage.

Also, if I ever line up with another 992, 100% of the time they try to race me. Every... single... time. They launch super hard off the line and take off like a bat out of hell. Being 100% serious. I never take the bait though.
