Crashed my c4s
Hi guys, im devastated i crashed my 911 yesterday on a rainy day i lost control on the higway at 70-80 mph and hit the concrete divider on my rear drivers fender. I guess the wheel took the most damage but overall Is this something that can be fixed or?
pretty devastated…was my first 911 after years of hardwork and this happened about 4 weeks after i bought the car. 15k miles on it.
p.s
this is the only side that has been damaged, everything else is scratch free. Also it wont start - says instrument cluster failure inspection.

More important that you're OK....a 911 is material and is always replaceable...thank God for insurance

Burning Brakes
Sorry to hear that. Accidents happen, you're OK the rest is replaceable. Hard to tell the damage, but the rear axle is obviously toast.

Sorry to hear and see.
Hard to say what the extent of the damage is. If the frame is bent (which it might be), the car may be totaled.
I presume air bags did not deploy?
Glad you're ok, no matter what happened to the car.

that stance though.
even if it could be repaired, you won’t want it back.

He's making a joke about a weird car subculture where people purposefully add VERY aggressive negative camber on their cars ("rides" or "whips" more likely) to give it "stance"
Not getting the reference is actually a good thing so sorry that you now know this....

I’m glad you are ok!
I own exactly the same car so, if it’s not too traumatic, I’d like to know more details.
‘What tires? What temperature ? Did you hit some deep standing water? Was there a foreign substance involved like oil or antifreeze? Anything else you can remember?
Honestly 70 to 80 miles an hour in the rain doesn’t seem that uncommon around here. I confess to running 80+ yesterday in some 40 degree, light, intermittent rain on my Alpin 5’s without a hint of drama.
