Got an allocation for a 992.1 Carrera S at MSRP
Got lucky over the past weekend and scored an allocation for a 992.1 Carrera S at MSRP with no extras. Building an Artic Grey car with the beautiful Slate Grey/Chalk full leather interior and of course a manual transmission. Build locks this week and car has an ETA to the dealership of early April 2024. Feeling excited to be heading back to a 911.

Just seeing some posts here regarding this new chip embargo delay.
Anyone clear on how this will affect cars with build dates starting soon? Thanks.

My build just finished Friday (2/2/24) I HOPE I don't have to wait for the big electronics parts swap on the dock! My C2s is in transit to the German port of Emden. TYD now shows "The next milestone is in sight" and no dates past the build dates. Not a good sign. Prior to today it was looking like an April 2nd, 2024 delivery at my dealership. Not so sure now.
*EDIT* - I HOPE I got the new and improved ECU!

Got one too. NYC area. Technically, they wanted 25k in options but I sent one with 23k that I was going to get anyway and they took it.

Congratulations to the OP.
Wow! This is all sounding like really good news after almost 3 years of an availability drought.
I wonder . . . markets are climbing, so no real reason or motivation to sell just yet and interest rates look like they're coming down . . . . in the future. Maybe the number of buyers for 6 digit cars has suddenly been significantly reduced?
