Default Is IGM too silver on the configurator?

Is white on the configurator closer to Ice Grey Metallic? To me the color looks more silver there. This photo is using white.

Configurator doesn’t come close to actual. There are numerous threads that have pictures of IGM that are close to what it looks like in person, but you need to see in person to get an accurate view. It’s definitely not white.

It is most definitely not white ! It has a wonderful blue tinge in certain light photos honestly don't do it justice try to find a 911 with it. Personally I don't think it looks
so good on a Taycan. There is no silver at all the configurator is useless in this respect.
Hope these pics I took on my drive this Monday help.
Best Devon Racer.

The online configurator is terrible. Here is a photo taken inside with the actual paint samples at the dealership. Starting upper left going clockwise; Ice Grey, Chalk, GT Silver, and White. When looking at them side by side the difference between Ice Grey and White is more obvious. For the record I ordered my 992 in Ice Grey after seeing the paint samples in person.

I've read numerous posts about folks switching from chalk to igm after seeing the actual color and some even just from online pics. I am one of those folks who prefer igm. I'm told it changes shades depending on light conditions.

I’m one of those folks. I was set on chalk for over a year and then saw IGM in person on a 911 a few weeks before my freeze and switched. I’m very happy I did. Chalk has brown undertones, IGM has blue.

excellent. I'm not posting my build code just yet until I get full confirmation from my SA. A bit superstitious lol

I love my IGM GTS. I also have a chalk Macan T.

Agree with everyone that IGM has a blue tone and chalk has a brown tone.

Here's a photo of the colors next to each other on a sunny day. Ironically, the chalk Macan isn't mine.

I love my IGM GTS. I also have a chalk Macan and like the color very much...but not as much as IGM.

As other folks have noted, IGM has a blue tone and chalk a brown tone. IOW IGM is a colder color and chalk is a warmer color.

Here's a pic of my IGM GTS next to a chalk Macan which ironically isn't mine on a sunny day.
