Default PCNA "Executive" cars as CPO at dealers

I did a search but had no luck finding a prior thread on this... Does anyone have information on these cars available at Porsche Dealers where they technically have had zero owners, as they are sold by PCNA to the dealer? My understanding is that some of these may be PEC cars that have had a "spirited" life on track, skidpads, wet driving exercises, etc. (a hard beginning to life, for sure); others may be press loaners for magazine and YouTube folks to test for articles/posts; others still may be driven by PCNA employees for a year as they travel around.
I am seeing a number of these cars whose CarFax first entry shows anywhere from several thousand to about ten thousand miles, and no initial title being issued except maybe to the selling dealer.
I'd love to get the forum's take on these cars, especially from folks who may have purchased one as CPO.
Thanks all! Love that this forum exists with Porschephiles galore!

@shustermeister, my 2021 C2S came from PEC Atlanta, sold as 'new' to me, never been titled, bought it CPO with 4400 miles, its been perfect. It's PDK so I'm not concerned about overrevs or clutch abuse - I pulled the DME report and there were minimal ignitions in range 1, none in range 2 or 3. Car had new pads and tires, so that made me happy. I've put 10k 'exuberant miles' on it, uses zero oil, and my Blackstone oil analysis after the first change was perfect. The two years extra factory warranty is nice for peace of mind. So this 'n=1' datapoint gives it a solid thumbs up (not sure how I'd feel if it was a manual transmission). YMMV.

p.s. feel free to DM me if you need more info.
p.p.s I also had the service guy show me the log of all work that's been done on the car, it was only standard TSB stuff, so that made me feel better too.

The vast majority of these PCNA cars are executive returns.

I have a relative in the program.

They cycle through them every 6 months.

There’s been a 992/982 executive program embargo for about 2 years, but heard that’s been lifted.

I've seen PSDS (PTX) cars being called executive demos. It seems the lexicon is very loose. I would steer away from a driving school car, they are properly abused, eg no break-in for non-GT models.

I bought a 2023 Carrera T in December that was a corporate executive car (not a press car or track car according to the dealer that sold it as passed on from the Atlanta office). It had 4900 miles, never been registered so it has full factory warranty plus the CPO inspection and warranty. The overev report had 50 instances in range one. I had an allotment for a 2024 Carrera S that I had worked out, but the 2 colors I wanted, Shark Blue and Speed Yellow had both been removed when they sent my order in. The next day one of the dealers in the Midwest I had been in contact with called me and offered the PCNA car. I cancelled the new S order and bought the T which is what I wanted all along and the color I really preferred. I was way down on my local dealer T list. I have only put a few hundred miles on the car so far but everything works as it should and is in excellent condition. Long winded way of saying I am happy with my purchase.

Thanks for the input, folks. Glad that most replies I've seen for "Executive" cars have been happy with their purchase. I don't want to make an assumption on what a dealer may say about the PCNA cars they are now selling, but they are likely not bragging about selling you a former PEC or press car, as they have been driven hard early in their life by multiple drivers. There's also no way to know if any break-in was done, even if the cars have been well maintained. An Executive demo/loaner car return is maybe less likely to have driven too hard, I would imagine. One car I found had PCCB and at 6000 miles already had brake job - surely a PEC car to have worn the brakes that badly...

I purchased a 2022 CPO executive car with less than 1000 miles on it back in 2022. I saw no evidence that it had been tracked. The only issues I have had with it is a Bose speaker had to be replaced.

My friend works at PNA, he gets a new car about every 6 months as part of his compensation. During Covid they were not allowed to order 911 cars, so they were getting SUV's or Panameras. He recently told me he was ordering a 911 again so there should be a good supply of 911 executive cars in the near future.

why would a CPO 911 with 4400 miles required new tires and pads. I mean I think I know the answer, just wondering what you were told about that. Glad you've been happy with it.

there is a company car auction monthly, the majority of the cars sold are Macans, Cayennes and Taycans that were driven by PCNA employees as part of their comp package as was noted above. The cars are usually 50 miles up to about 8,000- very low % of them will be over 10k miles.

Sometimes, other cars were press fleet, PECLA/PECATL or even EPA compliance testers. I actively shop this auction and can find some really good inventory for CPO stuff, just bought a 2023 Cayenne GTS from there a few weeks ago.

In general any of the PEC cars that we shop for at this auction already have clear bra on them, and they send them to us with new tires and usually new brake pads. The way they run the cars, the windshields are not torn up like a lot of track cars since when you do the PEC courses you're not in a big train of 5+ cars going through corners like a normal track day. I have no hesitation buying a car from this auction source assuming it's as represented in terms of condition...I try to buy stuff that is super clean.
