Hit a Curb Hope its not totaled
Hit a curb, What you guys think. Control arm broke off and had to drive the rim to safety. HIt the curb at 20-30 mph. Radiator antifreeze was dripping also, by front tire. How disappointing.

Hope the Insurance company doesn't total it. I swerved out of the way of an animal on the road and just didn't see the curb. rear tire has a slight curb rash also.

That shouldn't even be close to getting totaled unless insurance thinks they'll recoup more from the salvage auctions selling it as salvage + paying you out vs the cost of fixing it.
Quick estimate based off costs in my country and Porsche procedures off the top of my head is that's probably 30g+
The wildcard will be if the structure behind the rocker/fender on the hinge pillar is crushed. That will most likely require replacement if so. Structurally it should be fine besides the outer skin on the hinge pillar (if it even damaged that). The suspension is designed to take energy before it damages things further in and the damage to that should go no further than the subframe.
That's not antifreeze either or it shouldn't be; probably brake fluid.

If it is coolant you have major undercarriage damage which is unlikely from going into a curb with a wheel, and your bumper would still need to be destroyed in some portion of it.
Take it to one of the best shops in your area, somewhere that deals routinely with well cars over 6 figures or a certified Porsche Bodyshop, which are probably the same place. This hit isn't a big deal, just expensive, and really no risk of the car not driving perfect again. It's really just swapping a bunch of bolt on parts with new ones for the most part.

Thank You.. Unfortunately my insurance is going to skyrocket. Most likely........2 years ago the insurance company totaled my Aston Martin vantage with a little more damage. that thing deprecated like a tank. Driving summer tires in Michigan in the fall.I hate to say it, I decided a $S to be safe.. haha. I guess it's the driver. lol. insurance companies are difficult and look for their best interests. Blessed to not get hurt.
