By the way, according to Porsche, "In North America, the slowdown has been attributed primarily to a customs-related delay in the shipping of some models." I'm sure many of us were a part of that statistic.

992s we're not delivered in January-February because of the chip embargo... Shocked that they even delivered 1900 in Q1. That's not related to demand though.

They had best not get too aggressive with that - its going to be a tough sell. I would like to know if the dealers even have waiting lists for the 718 EV.

Many readers here knew something was happening 1-2 months ago when suddenly allocations were popping up. I was getting the run around for 13 months - then suddenly I got an S allocation. It's more than just the chip issue causing the delivery numbers to be skewed.

I’ve purchased 3-992s in the last four years.
992S,992Gt3,992GTS from my local dealer all at MSRP no add ons.
I’ve been doing business with the store for 26 years but they treat all local customers really well and they don’t sell out of their area.
matter of fact, they just sent me a $200 gift certificate for my birthday yesterday. Pretty nice!

Consider your company has two products, A and B. Demand for A drops. Product B is in high demand. What do you do? (Answer: make more of product B).

Clearly off Porsche pricing subject but, Subprime loan originations on New Cars at at 1/2 historical pre-covid levels and are only 5%-6% of all loans. On Used they are at 10%, and down 50% from historical norm. Used car prices remain strong, unemployment remains low. Don't bet against the US economy!

A 992 4s used to have a 1+ year waiting time in Bucharest. Now they have a GT3 touring at MSRP sitting for close to a month: https://finder.porsche.com/ro/en-RO/...&condition=new
