I am still trying to figure out how to get the PCSS account. I can see the service requirements on My Porsche, but I can’t figure out how to reset the intervals.

lol what write up....*

tap three times?

In this thread I have already posted everything to it.

I mean you can lead a horse to water....

I hear a lot about what other people did/said, anyone with first hand experience of this working / not working want to speak up?

*and realistically you don't need a write up anymore now that is so easy to get the actual procedures from the factory. There are a lot of gotcha's in following write up's from internet rando's..

You register here:

https://pcss-tsi.porsche.com/landing...ion?country=US

don't worry about the company name part, use what ever you want. I went back and forth a bunch with them about this and to them it's just a field in a database (for USA anyway). The address needs to be your real address though.

I have few questions, but I’ll P/M you.

Sure, but I can only really speak to the PCSS stuff. I'm waiting until I get my car to mess around with the Virtual tester stuff.
High on my list is swapping in an Antigravity LFP battery, and I will need to register it with the BCM and a few other things.

So which dealership do you work for? Just curious

In the amount of time you have spent jabbing me you could have just gone and tried this on your own car, and actually had something relevant to contribute.

This has been discussed at length before, it does NOT WORK.

Resetting Oil Change Reminder (after changing oil of course) - Page 4 - Rennlist - Porsche Discussion Forums

post 48 and on, guys have tried, it doesn't work.

You need hardware, Piwis3 or aftermarket hand held to reset and log the oil service.

I HAVE done it myself with piwis3, the log is recorded into the DME, myporsche is updated as well.

Totally lost on this thread now, I'll wait until (if) I actually need to reset something and come back to it then, maybe it will be sorted out by then as to what works, and what doesn't.

We know PIWIS3 works. That isn’t up for debate.

Skimmed it, didn't see any mention of following the procedure as described in what I posted. Also didn't see the same options that would be available as described in what I posted.....

I mean really folks how hard is it for someone to just go to there car and try it.

You don't even have to follow anything I posted. Download/read Porsche Connect Good to know - Driver's manual for YOUR car and follow the instructions listed there.

If it says something different then what I posted it would be good to know that.

Honestly the idea of you all lining up to spend thousands on hacked/cloned/pirated Chinese tools is kinda crazy. Some of us don't want to be in a CCP botnet....or worse.

although I agree about the botnet… I have piwis on a dedicated laptop of its own with no Internet connection.

I have 1000hp+ stage 4 TTS, I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve used piwis now, it’s required for me.

I don't know why you keep mentioning the PCM procedure when it has never cleared the oil reset interval (although it does clear other stuff). Hence the hundreds of owners trying to find a solution to clear the oil reset interval.

Btw the cracked software is Russian, the VAS6154 clone is Chinese. If you're afraid of being h4ck3d then stay away from anything software related, get an aircooled.

Are you running it on the MDed used Panasonic laptop they sell, is there something special about that hardware that requires it? Or will it run on anything?
