I don't think it's that bad looking, but I'm guessing I'll be in the minority here. It's definitely a weird looking car, yet I think it's way more visually interesting than your standard, slab-sided 996. I dislike the lights the most; put on 993 lights and I'll bet everyone here would like it a lot more.

When I first opened it up I thought it had the 993 front end, thats why I looked at it. I wouldnt think it looked to bad that way. But that car is comical and the way its advertised is even funnier!!

The seller's page also has had over 6,000 hits. Many of them most likely came from the 911 or 964 board, where I first saw this car.

---boggle---

Let's see, we'll take 964 bumpers, a 996 front end, a 964 era AWD system, and a bright red interior. By combining the WORST features of each model run, it'll all cancel out and create a beauty, right?

well, I kinda like its look. The exterior isn't too bad, but the interior sucks.

However, it sounds like the got 5 wrecked p=cars and buikt this oneup. The scary part? " I sent it out to our Porsche guru to make sure it will be safe to drive to California, before you take delievery."

Seems like it hasn't been driven much since the ressurection. Makes me wonder about the carfax report..

The saddest part is thinking about how much bodywork went into fitting the hood, lights, and front bumper in. That couldn't have been easy.

I think the exterior is an improvement over the 996. I'll have to go against the majority and say it doesn't look all that bad to my eyes.

Thank God that none of us will be the purchaser of that car. Looking at it makes me feel bad for the guy that does.
