Default Unlocking a submerged 993

My 993 was a victim of the Harvey floods, and now I need to get it unlocked so that I can get it out of the garage however it will not unlock with the key and the emergency pull cable under the left front fender cannot open the front track either. It has a Tore lock system on it and I'm assuming that is keeping me from being able to activate the locks but I don't know. Any suggestions?

How hard is it to slim jim the door on a 993? Once saw it done on car in 30 sec, on another one it took about 5 mins with various tools. Basically a small air bag (like a blood pressure cuff) and long wire. Maybe a locksmith, tow truck company, AAA can help?

Terrible. Hope you and family are safe. You can anticipate lots of "helpful" messages coming.
Likely tow drivers and locksmiths are overwhelmed and getting either is difficult or delayed.
You need to get air inside and dry out asap. Break a vent wing window and gain access if suggestions above do not work.
Maybe guys like Rudy(Opo) or his staff can help you?

Thanks guys. The water was up over the dash, so I don't think there's any saving the car. I just wanted to get it out of the garage to be able to move some stuff around.

The key won't turn at all, in such case try the other door or your other car key.

You can turn the key but nothing unlocks. You may need to turn the key a little more and will encounter slightly more force for the mechanical actuation of the lock to work.

The door unlocks, as in you can feel or hear the mechanical actuation as you turn the key, but the pull seems to not be actuating - try the other door.

Break the drivers window not the wing window... it's easier to replace.

Save her and make her a track car.

That totally sucks. Sorry to hear about your 993. I sent you a PM.

If you decide to break a window, break the wing window as I've got an extra wing window which you are welcome to free of charge. They are not too hard to change.

Don't break anything. No reason for you to try and open the car. It is past DIY repair condition so you will gain nothing by breaking something to gain access.
At this point you should hire a towing co to retrieve the car. They can move and load a car without the key No Problem. Place go jacks on the rear wheels, roll it out of the space and turn it 90 deg. Put a trolley dolly on the back wheels hook the front and gone. No roll back needed which sometimes don't fit in garages.

I grew up just up the road from League City. Seeing a waterline at the window sill is making me sick, so sorry about the car and don't want to imagine the rest.
