Bubble prices are already coming down with rising interest rates and that'll continue. Ya never know what'll happen at auction though.

Not sure if Interest Rates have anything to do with it. Most people trading cars like candy bars deal in Cash.

Hagerty is putting on a seminar on air cool versus water cooled market scene during the RM auction. I'm planning on going. Will be interesting to hear what they say...

Should be an interesting week- the new kid in town, Worldwide Auctions, has one of Hitler's big MB's. Wonder if they'll get protests... Usually quite a range of cars at various auctions. RM has stellar stuff at a great location. Russo and Steele has some good stuff, just have to wade thru all the muscle cars, etc. Gooding has great stuff too. B-J is a zoo, but the vendor area is fun to cruise thru. Bonhams had some good stuff last year, but also some real crap I couldn't believe they'd even allow thru the doors...

Looking forward to it!!

I find it interesting that this is a no reserve car. I have paid my dues watching car auctions and have seen some sellers with no reserve loose there shirt. Like we all no you just need two people with hefty bank rolls to make it work. That said let's hope it doesen't sell for $75,000.

Take a look at the auction comments. Pretty lengthy.

Here is the auction. Scroll to the bottom where the comments begin. There are like 300 comments I believe.

A very, very nice C4S w/ 47K miles was bid up to $70K on ebay the other day. Pretty good indication of where the market actually is. Asking prices are meaningless.

if you get a LOADED guy that really wants a close to zero odometer, it could happen ....
but I doubt it .....
