Default Pics of me transporting 1 of 1 993 to Luft5

Rudy has trusted me to move his Krystal Green Metallic 993 c4s from Texas to California for Luft5. Congrats to Rudy for being invited to display his car there. So far we are having a good trip together, me and his car that is

Now if this El Paso Cracker Barrel would just hurry up and open already haha.

Hope to see Rennlisters there!

How to you strap down the car, do you use through the wheel axle straps or another type of method and if you don't mind sharing the brand being used. I trailer another brand car and i don't think i can use the same tether points on a 993.

thanks,
rob

I have used a variety of methods and I find on these cars, through the wheel with a soft strap so that there will be no rubbing works best. I do not like the axle approach. My trailer has heavy, highly rated D rings in the extruded aluminum floor, and I use commercial grade straps and ratchets.

Is it an optical illusion, or has that front bumper been resprayed, with a less than optimal match?

I only ask, because that's not the Rudyfyd way!

Can’t speak to the history of this car, but I cant speak to the lighting inside the trailer. With sunlight coming into different doors, and me snapping a quick picture, probably just the photo.

It does have a Euro bumper. Most likely painted outside of factory. Who cares though. Car is awesome!
