Yes, there's a thermostatically controlled fan on the stock Carrera cooler. I thought I'd leave it alone and avoid having to install an aftermarket switch in the car. The fan I'm using only draws 4.8 amps...so it should be fine with the stock foglight wiring/relay. No more ballast resistors for me!
