Ah a man unto my own heart. That particular one has been with me as long as I can remember and believe it's almost over 15 years... Mind you she was my dad's car before he stopped driving it and moved onto heaven forbid Mercs. I saved it from being traded in on an SL all those years ago and never have regretted it.
Haha everytime I go to the US I struggle with the driving!!! I'm totally in reverse.
Hehehe he means West oz mate.
Wonderful. Which part of Australia did you visit. I am currently based in Western Australia but am setting up home in Sydney as that is where the children are all looking to go to university from next year.
Hahah yes. Such a clichéd color combination straight out of the 80s. I had to always have a guards red and black but always thought it would be in a 3.2 carrera or 930 turbo... But it ended up on a C2S of all things.
Hahaha thankyou very much for the kind compliment. Am so happy to see so many still. Love this car after all these years. Its actually insane that I have had 993s for over 17 years and yet I never get tired of them.
Thankyou so much. I would have really liked a speed yellow but I never found one unfortunately.
Really appreciate the comment, these really are the best Porsches ever made. It's amazing that I was out driving the other day and a new Cayman parked behind me. When I looked at the two cars together, the 993 looked positively small compared to the Cayman.
Thankyou very much. Certainly hope to do so my friend.
Thanks again, i am looking forward to really spending more time with my dad as he is getting older and try and create more memories around these cars with him as they form part of our DNA (the aventurine green used to be his before he stopped driving).
