993c2s Weighed!
Car is a 98 C2S w/ Fister 3, BBS E88, KW V3, RS Clutch/Flywheel, RS Door Panels & 997GT3 Comfort Seats. Was surprised it came under 3,000. Came in at 2959. Then Removed back seats, carpet, sound deadening for the lighter weight below @ 2900 but need to throw in some light carpets. EDIT: Gas tank is at 60-65% full
DISREGARD THE CROSS WEIGHT. NOT SETUP
Also had some things fixed (One of
the Vram banks stopped working) and dyno’d the car @241whp (254whp w/ sae correction factor). Before being fixed was 218whp.
thanks to Minicorsa as always for fixing my cars.

How many gallons of gas in the tank? Are they going to corner balance it?

I;m quite surprised that this weight, especially for a WB car Would expect it to be much closer to 3,100 lb. I would also seriously consider corner balancing. Don't like those cross numbers, no sir.

Edit : I was incorrect. Gas tank is at 60-65% full. Right below the 3/4 mark.
We didn’t setup the cross weights Don’t even look at them. Just for overall weight.

Thats impressive with 90% fuel. Is Mini Corsa setup to do alignment on our cars? Curious, because they would
be a convenient shop for me.

That is almost unbelievable weight with mostly still stock car inside. I go my car down to 2645 with full tank of gas bit it was literally stripped. Still had steel body parts and a heft roll cage welded in. So 2900 and change is very good. Does it still have AC and heat?

^ + interior is pretty easy 100lbs. That first 100 lbs is easy. Took near 400 lbs out of my 964 and that's after adding a welded in rear bar.
What dyno did Minicorsa run those #'s on? Do they have other 993 to compare to? Thanks

He ran those on a mustang dyno at Castro. That dyno reads the same as the Dynojet at Specialty Z which I ran the car at as well prior to being fixed. Both dyno sheets were identical and within 2hp. They don’t that I’m aware of but from dynos I’ve found online of stock 993 seems around 245-255 is the average on a Dynojet. Know your build. Looking forward to seeing some laptimes since all the work
