I have my PSS-9's at Bilstein getting rebuilt now. They have to be sent to the Poway, CA location (only Bilstein place that does it). This time of year Bilstein is rebuilding a lot of struts for the off-road racing teams. Unfortunately, I didn't get them in earlier in the winter. There was a long wait when I dropped them off in February. They asked that I strip them down to just the shock. That wasn't a problem since I was going to do that anyway to take pictures and count threads for the different collars. I still plan on a full corner balance and alignment when I get them back but at least they will be close. The cost is going to be right around $1000. I did ask that a few items be replaced while they had them apart which added a little to the cost.

I'm in the same boat.. My PSS9's are toast.. 14 years.. Bodies have a lot of rust on them, and the springs are exposed metal from the powder coat flaking off.. There's no way to adjust that heights anymore, they're pretty much galled in place... Dampening still work pretty well, but they are ugly.. I'm thin king about those KW's stainless would be nice....@jhummel68 is it going to be $1000 total, or then do you have to start adding more money for more parts?? You think that sale is still going on?
