Hey guys,

Had a chance to spend time in Carmel and look at some pretty cars. Went to the BMW/Audi/MB's Legends of the Autobahn event in the morning. Lunch at the McLaren experience, and our Werks Reunion for the award ceremony.

First up, Legend's pics. Despite being a BMW/Audi/MB event, there were a few nice Porsche's on display. I have never seen an RSA and a Rubystone car in person. Really pretty.

When I was a kid I remember watching the M3s and e190s race in the DTM series. This rare manual 190E 16V was super clean with some nice custom pole positions.




I thought this was the most unique car at the show. This is a 300SEL 6.3L V8 DE beast.






I can imagine Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface roll this in Miami in the 70's. If you look closely at the passenger side dash you will see a big folding mirror and box below it.




I have always liked the 635s and Alpinas.

We stopped by for lunch and coffees and take a break from the sun at the Mclaren event. The event was whatever, but seeing $10M of Mclaren's was cool.


This was one of several pretty Sennas. This one had a really pretty metallic paint job that would turn red and blue depending on what angle you looked at it.


I think I will take this Senna!

I am partial to blue cars






Last year at Rennsport saw a black and red Gunther 400R. Looks like they are improving the builds. This pearl white one is definitely the best so far from them.

It was pretty fun cruising about yesterday. We all had a grin, even a photo snapped of the ol’ 993 in this thread.

Hope the rest of you enjoyed and were safe. As it always is, you have to pick and choose the events you go to and still remain sane......
