It is a bad feeling that customers have to wait 4-6 weeks if they order a book from Europe in november or december.
We pay an enormous amount to DHL international, about 30% more than we charge to the customers.
I guess we need a distributor in the U.S.!

Sorry many of you are still waiting. The 964 book is fantastic, so I bet the 993 (and Speedster) book is amazing too.
Here are a couple more Museum Archive pictures from my visit this past spring. (including a 993 model!)

I honestly cannot understand how their website lacks updates for the past three weeks for my order.
Thinking about this further ... this is truly a first-world problem - waiting on a book to be delivered for over 3 weeks without any explanation or updates from DHL - but it is nonetheless frustrating. The DHL site seems to offer no potential method to contact them - at least from what I saw on my phone. I’ve never experienced such poor service from a carrier.
Perhaps your company should use FedEx or UPS or someone else other than DHL to ship to the US.

Same here. I ordered on December 8th and received 5 updates from DHL up till December 10th. USPS recognizes the tracking number, but still indicates it has not received the package. Frustrating.

How did you know that DHL handed off to USPS? There’s absolutely nothing I saw on the DHL site that indicated that for my shipment.

I have bought car covers from Germany and have them delivered within the week. My wife ships books to Australia on a regular basis and they are delivered within 10 days. I cannot fathom why these books are taking so long. I was considering buying one. I will wait until I see how this thread plays out.

Ordered mine on December 9. It’s either sitting in Hamburg as of December 21 waiting to catch a flight or stuck in us customs. Post office computer knows it is coming, DHL is quite vague. Did these books end up on a sailboat to cross the Atlantic?
