Boxter value
My sister is getting ready to sell her Boxter.. What is a '99 Boxter worth.
Just turned 15K, Hard top included, it is Black with Burnt Orange interior, and absolutly nothing wrong with the car. A beautiful car but not a 993

there was a joke about this a while back on a boxster board... in order to get anything fair '$'-wise you'd have to "total" it. the 986 has been hit hard on resale & now w/ talk of big discounts on '04's... who knows what.
i sadly found this out with my 2000 986. it stickered for $60k (loaded) but was only worth around $30k-$35k in dec. '02 (w/ 20k mi.). the '99's are even softer, as they were less hp--- if i remember correct, '99's were 2.5's & lacked in the interior dept. whereas the standard 986 in '00 was 2.7.
i'm going to guess... somewhere in the mid-20's would "sell"... even better chances, if it's got 18's w/ some mods. painful... huh? geez... i gotta' think the boxster must be one of the best buys (used) next to an older 911. (a p-car @ the price of a miata!) doh!
bol....
glad we're 993ers. i've experienced less pain owning a 993 (not to mention more pleasure). gotta' love 'em.
