Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB

Advanced
Thank you guys for your above references above.
Due to numerous requests, I have now made two harnesses specifically made for easy use of the Blaupunkt Bremen SQR DAB head unit in Porsche vehicles with the original Hi-Fi solution. Two versions of the harness is available, either with the yellow Mini-ISO C1 connector, (Porsche 993) and a round 8-pin DIN connector used in several earlier models such as the 911 G-models, 964, 928 etc.
Cheers,
Tore

According to the instructions, yes. See below. BTW, I looked in the manual and despite what it says, no list is included for the compatible versions at either the end of the English section or the very end of the manual.
I'd imagine any recent version will work. This radio was released not long ago. You can connect an iPod/iPhone to either the front or rear USB's or connect them via Bluetooth. The only limitation seems to be you cant charge two iPhones simultaneously. Bummer, as I was looking forward to that capability. Guessing there isn't sufficient USB power to charge two modern iPhones.

1977 911?
Do you know if this head unit fits all the way back to 1977 or is the hole for the unit smaller on the older cars?

Reviving this thread and hoping someone has added a small sub-woofer to this installation and could share some tips to installation OR is the unit with 50W per channel strong enough to simply plug and play. I bought the door speaker set from Gert as well which are purported to be a dramatic improvement over stock. The car is a cab so with acoustic being as they are, trying to temper my expectations. Any suggestions to improving the sound?

My Bremen lasted about 7 months(3 month warranty) the buttons no longer respond to anything. I can make it work with the remote. Service center said they are not serviceable and to toss. I bought an Alpine.

I have Option code 490 which is the called Hifi but is NOT the hifi Nokia set up with controls in armrest that others have described. I bought one of the Blaubunkt units from Gert. Before I take everything apart, do I have to order the wiring harness fromTore for that set up to tie into the amp under the seat? Truth be told, the car is new to me and in storage so I don’t know what the heck is there other than I know it has option 490. Can someone help? Tore..??

My radio has one RCA jack labelled ‘ subwoofer ‘ whereas the Alpine sub I am connecting has two identified as channel 1 and channel 2. Any ideas as to how the two units are connected?

You most likely need an RCA splitter. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BHS...9-d144bdab42c3
thank you…ordered one from Crutchfield. 👍
