Yes, there is another garage at the rear with a 6’- 0” side-entry door for my tractor, additional tool storage (including an air compressor), and any potential motorcycle additions in my future. That provided the ability to have storage / loft above it so I installed a set of pull-down stairs for access and a shortened hand rail at the front.

I like them both (I have a soft spot for 90s sports cars - nostalgia from high school years!) but I much prefer the 993. I really enjoy the F355 as a complement and contrast to the 993 - it is very different and I grab those keys when I want something quirky and unique to drive. The 993 is much tighter, more nimble, predictable, approachable, has better feel and just feels better engineered. It is also on more modern suspension while the F355 is all stock so not entirely fair comparison but the 993 handles MUCH better than the 355. On the other hand, the 355's engine is intoxicating (when you're driving it, not when you're maintaining it!) and it is just so uniquely Italian quirky in general that it is quite fun. It's also surprisingly comfortable once you get used to the semi reclined position that is necessary for taller drivers - I'm 6'6". I also love the gated shifter on the 355. It clicks and clacks into gear and is a lot of fun - but can not be rushed! In general, I'd say the 993 puts a bigger smile on my face - especially in the twisties, and it would definitely be the one I'd keep if I could only have one but the F355 is a really great complement that doesn't at feel like more of the same and has an engine and transmission that brings on big smiles too!
Oh, and lastly, I'm not one for flashy cars so I had some trepidation about getting a bright red Ferrari. I only did it when I had moved to La Jolla CA where exotics are a dime a dozen and no one cares but I definitely would not have bought the car when I lived in the midwest. Overall, out here in CA, it isn't bad in terms of attention - certainly gets more than a silver 993 but it's generally good attention (the odd thumbs up or photo) with the occasional annoying stuff thrown in - like gas station questions about how much it costs, etc..

I did not know the shifter on the F355 does not like to be rushed - I had always imagined it very quick and tight.
The F355 is for me to Ferrari what the 993 is to the aircooled 911 i.e. a good balance between tradition and modernity.

Hello all. I came here to these forums to seek advice from good folks like yourself.
In 2014 I bought property which included a 30x40 building. It has a concrete floor with a perimeter of one layer concrete brick, and then 2x6 construction above. When I purchased the building, there were 2 rooms framed out, which I later expanded upon. The building was also insulated prior to purchase with pink insulation. I ran electricity to the building and wired it all up. I used Red Guard and coated the whole garage and then tiled directly over that.
Problem I'm having now is high humidity in the building. My humidity guage is reading 89% humidity for days on end. I saw some mold build up on the drywall which I cleaned with bleach and used Kilz2 paint to cover. I have since put in a 750cfm fan to help keep air moving but there is still high humidity and also looks like spots of water on the concrete/RedGuard where I haven't finished tiling.
The concrete is cold to the touch and the air yesterday was 81degreesF. Is this humidity caused from the cold floor meeting the warm air? How do I combat or solve this issue? Should I insulate the floor? Getting nervous because I don't want to ruin my investment on this building. Any thoughts help--Thanks in advance--Cheers.

Split unit ac unit….run mine in Florida just on dehumidifier setting. Humidity runs 40-50 %

@993pbug Did you ever get your lift installed? If so, pics? Also, how wide is your garage?
I have a detached single car garage which is very narrow (can only open my doors halfway). Have been kicking around the idea of knocking it down and doing an oversized 1-car garage attached to the house with an additional bedroom above. The garage interior would be 15' x 30' inside and just under 13' ceiling.
