Congrats, what a beauty!

A 98 C2S in SY, correct me if I'm wrong but that is quite rare.

thats an excellent setup for every day driving + canyon driving , takes 99% of the guessing out and gives you a great ride. I bought my C2S with H&R coil overs otherwise i would have gone B6 + H&r springs . Beautiful car

Default Colors through the years

I can't find any published documentation of 993 production by color and year, which is a major gap for a very collectible Porsche series. I do hope someone writes this book.

I extrapolate from Prestige guides that the standard colors 1995-1998 were guards red, black, and blue turquoise.
In 1995-1996 standard colors included grand prix white and speed yellow.

This changed for 1997-1998 production where glacier white replaced grand prix and pastel yellow replaced speed yellow. Speed yellow was now a special order option that cost $2955 back then.

So I don't know how rare it is but it's my favorite up there with Riviera blue.

Here's the color brochures published in 1995 for 1996 and in 1996 for 1997-1998.

Thank you. This is my second time around creating a Porsche palette and the best yet. This is where I came from just 4 short years ago. You may have read about the guy who lost 4 in a house fire.
Never give up!

Sadly, I remember seeing the C4S on Copart a few years back. Sorry for your loss! Glad to see not only the palette being renewed but also the home-front with the gorgeous garage.

Default Great car!

Richard: Congrats on the SY. So sorry to hear of your fire. That is tough to bounce back from. Did you move from MI to CT?
