Speedster clamshell for cab?
Has anybody made a replica Speedster clamshell for a cab? I am ok removing the soft top as I never drive in the rain. I am just curious if a aftermarket is made or had been made in the past. Thanks!

Hi Bigwood -
If you do a search, there have been a few removable hardtops produced, I'm not sure if these were factory or after market.
These are quite rare and in the past 15 or so years, I've only seen one up for sale.
I believe the soft top would have to be removed, to fit the hard top to the body.
With a good CAD program and a BIG 3D printer, almost anything is possible.
Best wishes.

It's not super expensive for the clamshell speedster hump, but you will need to remove the soft top to fit it.
I've gone through the importation of a DMorris hard top - just beginning to try to get installed.
If you do want to import it's really not that horribly difficult - just hire a freight forwarder to deal with it.

Any Idea on what the cost of the Cabrio Beach Cover "Clamshell" for a 993 is? Also do you know if D Morris paints the covers? or do they only come primed?
Thanks,
Ryan
