Default The definitive 993 size photos...

I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile, side by side with the GTS for a size comparison. The 993 always felt small but the GTS also felt small when driving but the pictures tell the truth. Also, no one would call the Macan a large SUV the following pictures had me laughing out loud as the 993 looks like a go cart! Also a good comparison of Guards and Carmine. This was a fun photo shoot!

I love this picture

That last photo doesn't even look real. Too funny.

Yeah, especially after the one before. It seems the camera angles really make a difference. I don't think the 993 looks that small in all of the other pics.

It's probably due to keystoning of the photo due to the wide angle perspective and how the back end of the Macan is closer to the edge of the frame versus the 993. Also, if the camera had been more parallel to both cars, the size would have been lessened to some degree.

The way to minimize this is, assuming it's a smart phone, to get back as far as possible and zoom in, effectively using a longer focal length. The downside is that resolution can suffer since you're not zooming with an optical, lens-based zoom.

Anyway, I love comparison photos like this. It's almost as cool as that photo of both the 914 and the 917.

I rarely laugh out loud at pictures, but that last one got me.

I gotta ask someone with a big lifted truck (lots of them here in a Texas) to take a picture next to my 993. They look like monster trucks when driving next to them.

Not quite a big lifted truck, but a good comparison nonetheless:

Can you see the 993 from your truck when it’s next to it?
