Thanks.

You need to burn through the gas tank with the mix, then refill with fresh gas and go for a smog check(after properly warming up the engine).

Just wanted to update, issue was due intake manifold leaks and vacuum lines routed incorrectly. I had the intake manifold pulled to replace the seals on the butterfly value as it was leaking oil. Suspect when the mechanic buttoned it back up they missed a few things. Once fixed no issues passing smog. I've never had any issues with smog due to the RS cams.

Default Oil change needed after cocktail?

Should the oil be changed prior to repeat smog test after doing the cocktail? I just had the oil changed about 600 miles/5 months ago. The car has 42,000 and I’ve never done this cocktail before, only oxicat.
Thank you for the comments.

No, you don't need to change oil after using gas additive.

Did you ever notice the fans in the SMOG shops? When the vehicle gets too hot the exhaust numbers can really climb especially the NO #'s. Thus the hotter isn't always the solution for passing emission testing.

My condolences to those that still have to deal with this environmental excess. Smog testing was abandoned a couple of years ago here. Even though mine always tested very clean, it was still a pain in the but. BOL.
