Default Where to buy Recaro Sportsters

Hi RL'ers,

I am pretty much set on Recaro Sportster CSs. I see various buying options, including from Poland and Germany. Is there a vendor on RL that provides good pricing on those?

Thanks!

I bought mine direct from Germany. They were about 3500 with heat. Took almost 3 months to get here from DHL. Not sure if anyone is offering a better price.

Thanks. Which vendor? Did that include tax and any customs fees?

If I recall correctly they updated the design and they became uglier. Following this thread because I also want (old style) a set but custom upholstered.

You can still get the old sets out there. The new ones are very boy racer. I'm a big fan of the older ones. I got mine about a year ago. The new ones are colored and have a chevron pattern on the back. Sportster GT. Not a fan.

So sweet/. You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of those bad boys installed? I have been dreaming about some in Flamenco red for my car, but at the current custom price for a pair @ $6500 without hardware, I can't quite justify it yet. Hoping I can find a pair of good used ones and maybe find a good upholstery shop. Anyway, not to highjack the thread, but those look great.

Check out 425 Motorsports. I bought seats from them and they provided excellent service. No other affiliation.

The GT's didn't replace the CS, they are simply another offering. You can get either model.

Sorry not yet. My car is in “Winter Storage Mode” at the moment. 1st Week of April here they will be installed and will share some pics. Been wanting these for a long time! Will be night and day difference from my 24 yo stock seats! Gonna get some cool inserts for them too since the centers are velcro ... fabric like pasha or tartan. Can easily change them up in minutes.

A few years back I was looking for these for my F355 in carbon fiber. Found a place that would supply them but never ordered as I found an oem set.

Here is a pic of mine installed. Have had them for probably 7 years. They still look brand new. Taught my wife how to properly get in and out without ruining the side bolsters! Haha!!!! Have done many long road trips with the seats installed and they are super comfy!

You will love them! Where are you getting your plaid/houndstooth inserts from?

Try StableEnergies in Garfield, NJ. They might be able to get them.
