Hey all, I'm looking for a carbon fiber decklid for a 993. I do not want a spoiler, just a flat decklid. Currently I have the basket handle, I will keep my OEM parts, but would like to update to a 1996 style decklid and if I could save some weight while doing so that would be great. Has anyone seen any for sale? I have checked Getty and the other usual suspects but haven't found anything. Any ideas?

I haven’t weighed it, but the factory decklid is surprisingly heavy.

Aftermarket carbon and glass decklids don't fit very well and require a TON of work. All of them eventually suffer from fiber print through as they age (the fiber and the resins have a very different CTE) and lots of them experience delamination where the latching mechanism is attached. There are better places to save weight...
