Replacing motor mounts?
97 C4S - motor mounts are 25 years old, so I am considering replacing them
OEM Porsche mounts are $637 each (ouch)
I value less vibration as a premium - are any of the non-OEM that are more cost effective worth a shot?

I run these: https://www.rennline.com/Rennline-Tu...oductinfo/M18/
I noticed no difference in vibration over stock C4 mounts. C2 mounts are a bit more forgiving than C4, I believe. I can't speak to the difference between these and C2 mounts.

I replaced with Uro
The biggest improvement is from getting rid of bad engine mounts.
edit> apologies for borschtfont, cut and paste ain't what it used to be

RS mounts for a cheap, fast fix and then went back to current very-expensive fluid damper Porsche part965-375-050-00
Very little difference with PSS10s and 18" wheels, I'd say a little quieter with the windows up so if you're searching for GT luxe touring then yes, absolutely. For canyon carving, cash is better spent elsewhere IMHO.The biggest improvement is from getting rid of bad engine mounts.

JP Group Classic Porsche Parts
https://www.jpgroupclassic.com/produ...cbrand=porsche
A Manufacturer of 993 Suspension & exhaust replacement parts.
Parts made by these folks are available through Import Warehouse Distributors at a significantly lower price than the dealer part and appear to be functionally identical, I wouldn't be surprised that Service New Parts from the dealer are made by these folks. Their products can be sourced from multiple suppliers including eBay for some parts.

CRW, where are you getting your pricing?
FVD has them for $250 ( not sure of brand)
https://www.fvd.net/us-en/9933750490...t-996-gt2.html
Delaware for $472

Price definitely has crept up on them , they were around $220 from Delaware Porsche last December.

According to JasonAndreas, Rein/Corteco is the OE supplier for Porsche (post #34). https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...rmarket-3.html
The fitment guide on FCP says that Rein/Corteco fits all 993s and 996s. You can find the same mount at Rockauto and Amazon for <$100/mount. Look up AVE0382P. I believe C2 and C4 originally used a fluid filled mount, which many Rennlist posters have claimed leak.

I replaced with OE RS mounts, cheaper too. No noticeable extra NVH to me. Though I did it same time as Fister II, KW v3.
