I’m bringing in a 96 993 from Florida and need to get it smogged…any recommended shops that know what they’re dealing with and do a good job? Thanks for the help

I go to this little hole in the wall "Bayside Smog" located in Concord. He's a nice guy and has good prices but check his site for a coupon before going. I would also have him do a pretest before the actual smog to see if it will pass. Yes, he will charge extra but worth it vs. failed SMOG on Carfax. He SMOG's my 1988 Coupe and 1996 993 C4S.

Lol. I never knew failed smog was a thing on Carfax. My car failed smog lots of times. But it was
always just in need of an OBDII reset.

Look at the CarFax's on BAT and PCAR and see how many have failed SMOG noted. It will often raise a red flag and bring into question the SAI matter,etc.

I have used Smog for Less in Oakland many times. I would call first for pricing. The last time I went they had upped their pricing.
