What a miserable job! I have done a lot of similar projects being a boat owner so I assumed it would be easy. It took me 6 hours from start to finish! The trick was to run the 1/2 rope through the hose, tie a figure 8 knot in the end and pull it through with that. My snake and pull cord just got jammed or wedged somewhere. I hope I didn’t damage the pipe in the process as there was a lot of pulling. Also attaching the hose ent to the oil tank was tough as well. I had to pry it on with a little prybar that I had. I hope these tips help someone!

Did you see a hole rubbed through the hose ?

to be honest, I did t look yet. I was tired and oily and just happy that the job was completed.
I’ll look tomorrow before the garbage goes out.
