Default Thinking of Selling my 993, help with estimated value

Looking for a little assistance with my cars valuation as I'm thinking of selling and there's not a whole lot on the market to compare to. It's not a garage queen but a drivers car in good condition. Fun as hell to drive in the canyons and mtns of southern CA. Haven't driven it much the past 3 years as I started up my own business, been thinking about selling for a bit as it just sits in my garage. (I do pull the ecu relay to get oil flowing before starting the car in case anyone wonders)
Details
1997 993 154K miles
Full Engine Rebuild by S Car Go in the bay area at 122K, I bought from previous owner at 125k.
Most maintenance was by Jae Lee at Mirage in San Diego or myself
White with gray interior
RS cams installed during rebuild
MotorSound Box
Lowered on HR spring with bilsteins hd's
18" HRE Wheels
Stratton Ducktail, still have the original deck
FD short shifter and golden rod
Kenwood Bluetooth stereo (purchased before classic came out), updated speakers for doors and rear deck
997 seats, still have the originals that have been recovered.
Bergville HIDS For headlights, leds for center console, & leds for upper brake light
996 3 spoke wheel
New rotors and brake pads, fluid < 3k miles
Turbo S bumper
Aero Kit side skirts
Plenty more that I'm forgetting

Issues
Door strap needs to be fixed passenger side.
Slight oil leak from both chain cam covers
Rear tires will need to be replaced
Only one fob, have a second one purchased from ecu doctors but need to ship out ecu & immobilizer to program
Nicks, dings, & paint associated with a car with 154k miles
997 Passenger seat bottom has slight discoloration in small one area (Purchased like this)

Debating to sell with the car
Fabspeed Sport Cats and X-Pipe, had to remove for smog. Love the sound when installed.
2nd Ecu with Steve Weiner rennsport tune & immobilizer delete, & ecu doctors ROW flash.

Thanks

I'm no help, but I just wanted to say, I love your car. When I was looking to buy, yours was one I saved a picture of.
Also, I'm interested to see what people think, as mine also has high mileage - 158k.

Thanks appreciate it. I really love that car as well as my son. Had a few other things I planned to do but life got in the way and was no longer a priority. Been contemplating selling it for over a year and finally doing something about it. It's one of the cars I've always wanted since I was a little snot nose kid. I just hate to just see it sitting where someone can enjoy it.

What is an ecu relay and where is the ecu relay located? Thank you.

Actually, I misspoke the name of the relay. It's the DME seen here - https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...leshooting.htm. Once pulled you can crank the car which in turn powers the oil pump and adds oil to the top of the engine, but the fuel pump and ignition are inoperable.

It's always hard to value the higher millage cars - to an educated 993 buyer, you have a very attractive car at the right price.

Do a search of 993's in the completed auctions section of BAT and you'll get a rough idea of what these cars sell for in VG condition with minimal issues.

Realize, your car is worth less than these:

- higher mileage
- issues to fix that BAT often don't have
- having things that need to be fixed may scare off a lot of people that that don't belong to the DIY crowd - P mechanics can be expensive

Because no one has ventured a number, I am going to say you start in the $70k range and see where it goes.

One suggestion, swap out the after market wheels for stock before sale. 17 cup2 or 18 turbo twist. Ask $79,993. GLWS!

Curious as to why? Excuse my ignorance on this. Also I don't have the stock wheels anymore.

Probably to appeal to more buyers. I don't know that I would worry about it, personally, in this red hot market. Wheels are so easy to change.

It's the stock vs modified debate. The stock wheels would dial back the modified look. Those two wheels identify a 993 to most people. My .02.

I was about to say “price it higher than you think”.

Then a few folks tossed out numbers that are higher than I think…
