Default 993 white exhaust smoke

Well, not smoke really. I did not notice any smoke. What I noticed was the car felt kind of sluggish at high rpms. Not missing a beat or anything but a little slower. I was at RA. 1-8 it was one of the fastest out there but on the back straight it felt slow. I know it is slow. Well, let's just say slower than usual. After the last session I noticed the inner part of the exhaust on the left side looked white. If you look at the pic you can see the white. Any ideas???

The car has no cats, and fister III exhaust, it's a 3.8, and has a modified gear box.

Thanks

Here is video of the last session.

Could be ash from burned oil- maybe a valve going?

I’ve never noticed it before. I drove the car from the track to the house afterwards. She seemed like she was ok. No changes from before. I just want to make sure no major issues are boiling up here.

Did you change the mufflers or delete the cat since your last track event?

Andreas

I usually run the car with no cats. Love the sound with no cats and foster IIIs.
When we go to AMP I put the cats back on because of the sound restrictions there.

Once off AMP I get rid of the cats. So, yes I recently had cats on the car.

Whitish color inside the tips only, not smoke? Light tan would be normal, a little lighter likely means it running on the leaner side.

like spark plugs, I’ve read this too. Are your intake rubbers original? ECU can’t correct for a leak post MAF. One side implies cylinder intake on that side.
as part of my “replace all 25yr old rubber” exercise at couple years ago, I replaced all the intake joining parts as well as the fuel lines.
spray some carb cleaner around and see if revs change.

Just to be on the safe side I had new spark plugs put in with an oil change. The car is running pretty smooth.
