Default Air Bag sticker in door jam?

I was at a PCA concours and was watching the judging of a 97 C2. I noticed a sticker that I had not seen before, and one of the other 6 993s had it. Anybody else have one. The car has 39,000 miles 2nd owner, basic 993 not a lot of accessories, delivery dealer is So California. Very original.

^^^^^ What he said. May be aftermarket as it shows no Porsche numbers. Most decals do but not the expert

I answered my own question, after doing a search I found that it is a sticker from Porsche for 993,996,997. when a child seat is used. Not sure if they came with a factory child seat or something else. So here's the sticker for sale,
does not mention where it should be placed.

That's the original sticker for the 993. Despite what the ordering site says, it's NLA. I waited 3 months for one, but they sent a recent round Porsche airbag sticker that was never on a 993.
if you find a source, let us know. The parts dept. said sorry, NLA.

Here's another view and proper location.

sometimes I see it sometimes I don't. Should I assume that when I don't that it has been removed?

I tried ordering this as well from Porsche. Like Zed said, even though the picture shows the right sticker that came with our cars, it was superseded to a new part number in 2002 and only the later version is still available. I tried finding it on Carbone.com and aasesales.com but no one has it. I was at a cars and coffee this past weekend and someone was selling a 993 Cabriolet that still had the sticker on it. I asked if I could take some photographs up close to have a reproduction made and he told me to peel it off and keep it. A little spray adhesive later and its in my car lol!

It’s the auxiliary box that comes with the PCCM. Others have done a much better job of hiding it but I haven’t gotten around to it.

Is the sticker applied whether or not your car has a child seat?
What year did Porsche begin putting the stickers on regardless of the shape of the stickers.
My car is a '95.
