Looking good! After ten years I've yet to tackle the audio system in the car but you're motivating me.
Also digging the wheels and look you're going for. I also have 9s and 11s and love the look.
Keep sharing your journey.
Cheers

We managed to lower the car a bit more:
Before, the rear wouldn't go lower on the PSS10, but I ordered a shorter H&R main coilover spring in the same spring rate. Managed to get the fender to wheel height similar around all 4 corners. Now, I think I'm running into being lower than Bilstein wants. Time to upgrade to MCS? Hahaha

Some weird stuff is happening with this car... But here's some more progress.
I found a set of TE37 for wide body 996 in Japan, so I had them shipped over. The orange fronts on the car are 18x9 +45 with a 3mm spacer.
When we originally built the E88, I sourced used front outer lips, because the 1" size is kinda strange and the aftermarket lip manufacturers don't stock that width.
As a tangent, my E88s were built with non-BBS inners and rear outers, which have a smooth bead seat area (means less issues with leaking) and they're a little bit stronger at the expense of being slightly heavier. The trade-off makes sense to me because this is purely a street car.
The 1" outers I sourced off eBay were mismatched -- one was the older BBS rolled-lip, while the other was the newer style, so they've never matched. I'm gonna run these orange TEs for a few weeks while my front E88 gets a matching lip so both outers will be the same.
I've also received my Helix P6 Ultimate back from repair at MSC, so I've scheduled some time in a few weeks to get that installed (so I can chuck the Focal amp the previous owner put in) and have DSP features. The shop's also agreed to put in a Classic 9 carpet kit and a color-matched Safety Devices rollbar at the same time. More to come when that appointment happens...

OK, some progress has been made:
A layer of soundskins pro has been put down and my installer managed to get most of the RS carpet kit in. We tried putting in a rollbar at the same time but I got lied to by the vendor, who told me that it could go in without welding but that isn't the case.
The outstanding items from this trip are the Recaro install and Helix P6 Ultimate DSP amp -- this should be done by Wednesday evening when I go pick up the car. I miss driving it 😩

Are you using a subwoofer? I have a compact 10” powered sub under the passenger seat. Amp under the drivers to power the fronts and using the head units amp to power the rears.
