Yes, it did. I bid it up to $82K but that was as far as I was willing to go. I was, frankly, surprised it sold for that price. Figure BaT premium and shipping and you are pushing about $100K for a C2 with 82K that has been resprayed, redyed and has cracked paint in the lower front spoiler.

So the search continues. If anyone on the board has a nice car that he is thinking about selling and prefers an easy and stress-free sale to a good home, give me a shout! Willing to pay a good price for the right car.

it was a good auction. lively.

i understand not wanting to pay that much, i probably wouldn't. on the other hand, i wouldn't sell my 933 with twice those miles for 100k either, even though it's "worth" far less in the market.

there's just something about these cars.

I was watching this auction with great interest because I have a 95 GP White car with similar mods and miles. The Seller did a great job answering all questions and providing documentation on a timely basis when the buyers asked, no drama or wait time between inquiries. If all auctions were run this way on BAT it would raise the bar substantially. Congratulations to the buyer and seller for this auction!

Thanks for the interest in the auction. I am the seller. It is a great car and both the owner and I are pleased. Stay tuned for another 993 auction soon. ‘97 993 C2 Schwartz Metallic with 60k miles.

I will say that Patrick tracked me down on RL and connected with me regarding the auction. Very classy, I thought. The sort of guy you want repping your car on BaT for sure. A great result for his client there and Patrick's active and engaged participation in the auction of this very nice car served his client quite well. Congrats to all parties.
