5mm is so little why bother? I do not generally like to do things on my car that alter the suspension geometry that the factory spent hundreds if not thousands of engineer hours developing.

I have 5 all around in my 4S. Doesn't affect the bolt threading and fills the arches better. Could I have gone slightly bigger? Sure, a little but I didn't want too much spacer

im in exactly same frame of mind - I would like the oem wheels a little more pumped…they sit ‘in’
Can you go for 7mm all around with the oem bolts..anyone know if that works?

5mm is as much as I dare go. With Al lugnuts you want all the thread you can. And don’t forget the optimoly to get torque right. After running 18’s I had to put 5mm spacers on the front for 17’s as
the gap was just too “356” for my aesthetic.

I usually put 5mm in the front and 7mm in the rear when I have the turbo twists on.

I have a set of 4-5mm spacers, used them on the 996TTS wheels I was running before the Tramonts. I do not remember from where they came, maybe…maybe Fister.

I would be interested in passing them on…I’ll see if they have any manufacturer markings on them tomorrow.

Won’t be free, but will be cheap.

I’ll follow up tomorrow

@403portside - Get the spacers. You'll be pleased with the visual improvement.

Pay no attention to to the negative 'suspension geometry' waffle.

Years back I messaged Opo regarding this very topic, I followed his advice of 7mm rears and 5mm fronts sourced from Ebay for my 96 NB. Ran them for years without issues.

Yes, I ran mine this way because of OPO also! Used oem lugs with no issues. I don't track my car though.
