Default Porsche indie in Chicago

Rennlisters,

Does anyone have any experiences to share about Olsen Motorsports in the Chicago area? I am looking for a reliable shop for a wheel alignment after a suspension redux.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Joey G at G design racing is top notch. Did my brother's 993 engine rebuild, swapped a trans on my 993 and some other work on my 997

Yes, I know Tim and several of the Olsen guys. I had an alignment done by Olsen two years ago and it was $$$$. They do good work but it was egregiously expensive. It’s worth calling over to get a quote.

I’ve also had several alignments performed elsewhere and have a few other recommendations in the Chicago suburbs…

Sam at Don’s Auto Ade in Warrenville is rock solid for alignments. Quite a few track/racing guys bring their cars to Sam since he has a drive on alignment machine which is good for lowered cars. Super reasonable pricing and overall good dude.

Ben and his guys at Ultima Racewerks in Crystal Lake also do really really good work. They’ve done quite a bit of maintenance, alignment and fab work on my 911. Not the cheapest, but their work is top notch and much more reasonable than Olsen.
