No.

But my thoughts were...

ToreB's HID bulbs and ballast kit.
Morimoto lenses and solenoid cut-off.
(I have also bought new lenses, but not yet fitted)

This combi yields more than enough light, in the correct place on the ground, in every situation. With the solenoid full-beam cut-off, the actual full-beam part of the headlight is not needed. Bulbs included. Seriously.

It is rare than a mod exceeds your expectations when fitted - the Morimotos with Tore's HID kit certainly do this.

Sure, but I don't drive my 993 4s at night. I think my xenon wirh the new glasses are just fine.

I prefer the look of the stock lenses. So, I replaced them with new glass, and installed ToreB’s HID kit and the Morimoto projector. Everything looks stock, but the light output is amazing. I just did the whole project two weeks ago.

Agreeing with others. Not liking that look, plus cheaper to do lenses and Tore's kit. Be sure to clean the stock projector lens as it will surely have some dust / film on it ( if not using the Morimoto). I do drive the car occasionally at night.

This is the setup I'm running. I like the light output but was hoping someone had experience with these headlights. The Tore kit with Morimotos is a fantastic upgrade over stock but wondered if these were more like modern LED solutions and light patterns.

Looks like I'll stick with the current setup for a while.

I have a set of them and the fit is plug-and-play. The "ring" illuminates white with parking lights and blinks amber with the turn signals. For the money I can't complain, but I wasn't thrilled the inside of the lens wasn't the cleanest when they arrived and I'm not willing to attempt disassembly (e.g. I cleaned the lens for the photo below). Also be aware the wire terminations aren't attached very well, but nothing that couldn't be addressed with a set of crimpers and trip to Lowes to pick-up a $3 box of end terminals. Overall, based on the money I would buy again with a follow-up note to them asking to ensure the inside of the lenses are clean and the inside is free of debris. I'm under the impression these are being assembled in someone's garage made to order. That's not a "knock" on their business just a heads-up to communicate with them so they take the time to QC their work before shipment.

Forgive the dirty car - it's pollen season and the car is up on jacks having the calipers rebuilt at PMB Performance.

Can someone tell me where and which Morimoto to order? The PO installed the Bergville FX but that was a long time ago!

No. Tore’s kit is the way to go. Prefer the stock look.

The alignment procedure is pretty tricky. Measure cutoff height at 25’ and make sure it’s 2” below the height of the headlamp center. If not, remove headlight and adjust vert and horizontal screws to correct. Repeat until correct.

I wonder how many folk do that?

I don’t like these. The lens is too flat, it just does not look right at all.

I have yet to find good headlights.

First I ran the full morimoto kit, it was hot garbage.

Then I kept the morimoto lenses but switched everything else to Tore. It’s much better but the headlights flicker (and yes I replaced the connectors).

I won’t be happy until 9Eleven headlights releases their 993 headlights but they have been promising those for several years now.

Hmmm their website is currently amazingly confusing.

I can only tell you what to order from 2018, and that was a MINI H1 7.0 BI-XENON projector. On my Morimoto box it does say 'made in China' so you may be able to find those projectors somewhere today even if Morimoto no longer stock them.

ETA - it's probably this - they are on V8.0 now?

Do get the OPTIONAL HIGH BEAM SPLITTERS
